Terms and Conditions
The rules:
- Players purchase tickets to play games.
- Players choose as many points as they like within each game image.
- After the game ends, an impartial adjudicator chooses the winning point.
- The player who chooses the nearest point wins.
- In the event of a tie, Pick A Point will draw a winning point at random from the tied points.
The conditions:
Pick A Point is the trading name of Pick A Point Gaming Ltd. (hereafter PAPG).
- 1. The competition is open to all persons aged 18 and over.
- 2. Employees or members of their immediate family or any other person who is connected with the creation or administration of this competition. Are not eligible to enter any of the competitions.
- 3. By entering this competition the entrants will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material.
- 4. The competition is governed by English Law and any matters relating to the competition will be resolved under English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. When playing online and accepting these terms and conditions you confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering our competitions. PAPG will not be held responsible for any entrant entering any of our competitions unlawfully. Please leave the website immediately if in any doubt and check with the relevant authorities in your country.
- 5. When playing online follow the on-screen instructions. Using the information shown in the photograph displayed on the screen, use your judgement and skill to correctly identify the position which you consider the judge will decide is the most likely winning position of the competition. When you are ready to purchase your ticket, pick your position and then follow the on-screen instruction and provide your contacted details and then your credit card details. When the credit card payment has been cleared we will then contact you by email to confirm your entry into the competition. Please note that when playing online you will not be deemed entered into the competition until we confirm your ticket details back to you by email. You can also purchase your tickets if you set up a membership so that all your details are pre-registered to PAPG and you are allocated a membership number.
- 6. When the competition closes on the specified date or tickets sold the winning position will be determined by an independent judge and a representative of PAPG. The winner will be the person who correctly identifies the winning position. If no one is correct then the closest position will win. In the unlikely event that there’s more than one closet position then one of the closet will be randomly selected by computer to select the finial winning position. All competitors are automatically entered into PAPG database for the purpose of conveying information as to the status of their competition, as well as for any future promotions, competitions offered by PAPG.
- 7. The winner will be notified at the address or telephone number given in the contact details within 15 days of the closing date of the relevant competition. Any entrant can check the results of competitions completed within the last 6 months at our website http://www.pick-a-point.co.uk/.
- 8. The winner will be required to send a copy of identification to PAPG to confirm their identity, age and also to prove that if the purchase was made by credit card that the card was legally theirs or they had authorisation to use it, before the prize will be paid or delivered. For future marketing the winner could be asked to provide photographs and appear in promotional marketing. Once receipt and verification of the details above have been confirmed by PAPG then the winner will be contacted in order to make arrangements for delivery of the prize.
- 9a. Prize colour and specification are detailed on the PAPG website, however during the course of the competition PAPG reserve the right to add or remove prizes from the competition. Due to the diverse choice of prizes the individual terms and conditions may vary.
- b. When a car or motorbike is available for a prize there may be a selection of left and right hand drive cars. All cars motorbikes will have delivery miles. Some are registered and some are unregistered.
- 10a. All prizes that have a specification listed have been purchased by PAPG. When a prize listed says "Specification to be confirmed" PAPG has not yet purchased this prize. If the winner of a prize that is "Specification to be confirmed" PAPG will place an order for that prize. PAPG will have the sole discretion as to the specification and colour of the prize. Delivery of the prize to the winner will of course take longer and may take up to six months.
- b. When a prize is won there may be the possibility for the winner to accompany PAPG and pick the specification and colour of the prize. When this is the case the prize winner will be notified and informed that this option is available. PAPG will arrange a date and time for the winner to accompany PAPG to collect the prize.
- 11. If the competition prize amount is not achieved then credit will be sent to each of the competitions entries. The credit amount will be the same as the stake amount for each entire. Credit is non-refundable.
- 12. PAPG will store the chosen prize for free of charge for 7 days after notifying the winner, at the end of which the prize will be delivered to the winner.
- 13. Acceptance of the prize by the winner gives PAPG the right to use the prize-winner's name, personal photograph and home country for promotional purpose, both immediately after their win and in the future, unless prohibited by law.
- 14. PAPG reserves the right to cancel any competition, for any reason, before the designated closing date. In these circumstances PAPG reserve the right to transfer the customer's ticket into another competition for which the ticket price is at least the same or more than the original price paid. PAPG also reserve the right at is sole discretion to extend the closing date on any competition.
- 15. PAPG makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods or services offered as prizes. Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of PAPG. PAPG shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act of omission by PAPG, or its servants, in connection with arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the prize-winner and, where applicable, to any family/person accompanying the winner, or in connection with any of the competition promoted by PAPG.
- 16. No responsibility will be accepted for failed, partial or garbled computer transmission, for any computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failure, connections, availability, for acts or omissions of any service provider, internet, accessibility or availability or for traffic congestion or unauthorised human act.
